Island Adventures
We all had a great time with Doug and Katie while they were here. We tried to take them to as many places as we could while they were here. We spent time at the Southeast Botanical Gardens, Ryukyu Mura and the Peace Prayer Park.

Don't ask me how I got up out of this hammock! I don't think Olivia wanted to watch me try.
Up, up and away!!

A Day at the Aquarium
Duane's brother Doug and his wife Katie came for a visit and after two football games we spent the rest of our Valentine's Day at the aquarium. Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time looking at all the marine life. The kids especially liked the sharks!
Do you think sharks like to eat pregnant women?
Is this half a smile from my son who can't seem to crack one? He must not be able to hide the excitement of having a shark swimming behind him.

Catching Up
I've neglected the blog for a little while and wanted to catch everyone up with what we've been up to. We've been busy with activities, visitors, waiting to find out where we'll be moving to next and the new baby that will arrive any day. My neighbor mentioned that she was surprised how active I still am. I think it's because I still have three kids to take care of. With everyone's activities there is no time for a slow down. The end of the football season is this week which will cut our activity load in half, then we're on hiatus for sports until baseball season starts.
Ryan earned his Wolf patch at his Blue and Gold dinner.

Last year it was just me there when Ryan earned his Tiger patch, so it was Duane's turn to draw a paw on Ryan's hand.
Cheers to our Good Citizen, Miranda!

Nago Cherry Blossom Festival
This past Saturday we went north to Nago for the Cherry Blossom Festival. I took the kids last year, but Duane has never been here this time of year and we wanted to be sure he didn't miss out. The weather and blossoms were beautiful and I managed to climb the 500+ stairs to the top (which may not have been such a good idea).
